Dumb and Dumber



Matthew Harding and Leon Childs were minutes away from parlaying the biggest stash of cocaine ever seen in Northeast Ohio into their personal fortunes.



But they got caught because neither had a quarter for a phone call.



They bumped into each other at a gas station, a chance meeting of two men going in different directions in the drug world. Harding was a crack smoker in search of a quick high; Childs needed to pack $7.5 million in cocaine for a cross-country haul.
