#BuyAmerican Buck Knives

#BuyAmericamMonday - get a Buck knife.
Sure a multi-tool can be handy but most of the time you need the knife.

A good quality knife you can carry in a pocket comes in handy all the time. Buck Knives are well made and when you start to carry one around you wonder how you got along without one.

This is a slim light 285. The rivet on the side (both sides) is for one hand opening. You just push it open with your thumb. That comes in handy if you need the other hand to hold something.

Buck makes a lot of different knives at their home base in Idaho. You can take a tour to see how they are made.

Good stuff.

No matter how into knives you are you can sharpen them at home.

I love my Made In The USA Lansky system.

They have sharpeners for just about everything.

The 3 stone system is easy to learn and use. Just be sure to use the correct angle for the knife. If you take them to get professionally sharpened as what angle they used and write it down and remember it. Then when you use the Lansky stones you'll know what to use.

The world of knives is kind of cool again. There are TV shows where people make them. Foodies love to discuss favorites and I think you should find out why our dads, grandfathers, and their moms and dads all found them useful to carry around every day.

There are a lot of other good American made knives out there. Go for it!

"We try to buy as much American-made shirts as we can and stuff to sell. It's very difficult to cover every base as much as our country has been saturated with foreign products."
