"Sources close to INFINITY World/Rhythmic AC KKWV (93.3 THE WAVE)/SAN FRANCISCO tell ALL ACCESS that a staff meeting has been called for this morning at 10a (PT), presumably to discuss the station's fate. It's being rumored that the station will cease its current programming and simulcast sister AC KBAY/SAN JOSE until a more permanent replacement format can be found for the signal. We're being told that THE WAVE format will most-likely continue, sans jocks, until TUESDAY (9/2), at which time INFINITY will pull the plug and begin the simulcast."

And so it was and so it is gone as of today.
