My summer project a Dubonet (ok purple) 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado is way on hold. The carb is being sent back for the 3rd time to get rebuilt at a very famous Oldsmobile hot rod shop in central California. It has been a 4 month wait for them to get it right. This is their last chance. It is a one week job including shipping at most shops.

No names need be mentioned yet. But if they screw up again they will get a contested credit card bill and lots of publicity.

For now everything is on hold, interior, paint, everything. Arrgh it is kind of driving me crazy, I was hoping to have it for Hot August Nights, the Labor Day Weekend, and the last GoodGuys show of this year but...

When it gets done it shall be bitchin and hopefully at the Oakland Roadster that now is at the Cow Palace in Daly City.
