Liberal Talk Radio to launch March 31st

In a DRUDGE REPORT FLASH it looks like a press release (it is up at their site now) from the Air America Radio group with details on the lineup and more of this new liberal talk radio network.

The lineup looks to be focused on comedy. They even say so. Probably a disappointment to people hoping for a more content oriented lineup. But we'll see.

6 to 9 am:

Host: Marc Maron

Co-host: Sue Ellicott

Co-host: Mark Riley

9 to 12 am:

Co-host: Lizz Winstead

Co-host: Chuck D

Co-host: Laura Flanders

12 to 3 pm:

Host: Al Franken

Co-host: Katherine Lanpher

3 to 7 pm:

Host: Randi Rhodes

7 to 8 pm:

Host: Marty Kaplan

8 to 11 pm:

Host: Janeane Garofalo

Can you tune in? Well maybe.

"Air America Radio will debut its programming on radio stations WLIB (AM 1190am) in New York, WNTD (AM 950) in Chicago and KBLA (AM 1580) in Los Angeles and a station in San Francisco to be named before launch."

They add:

"Live streaming of Air America Radio shows, along with show archives, will be available on www.airamericaradio.com. Air America Radio is in negotiations with satellite television and satellite radio providers. These national services will allow potential listeners to tune in anywhere in the country. The details of these partnerships will be unveiled soon."

They have a job opening in NYC for a traffic (commercial scheduling) director.

No idea yet on what San Francisco station it will be. I am still thinking 1010 am.
