I'm still trying to get a hold on this. Clarke says GWB is at fault for not invading Afghanistan when he first came to office before 911. Yea um people wouldn't have had a problem with that...
I wonder if he'll be asked about the meetings he was in where there were offers to hand over Bin Laden.
I wish somebody at the hearings would say "The 911 group was in the country planning and training to do what they did. We didn't know about them or their plans."
These public hearings are getting ugly, demoted guy writes book, Clinton bashers break out the old sticks and start again, Bush bashers do the same. Bin Laden is watching CNN with his buddies laughing his ass off.
And we learn? Well hopefully something, but any real deep info probably won't be released in public yet, after all we're still chasing the bastards.
He just started. After coming out early with his book to get press before these hearings then having the Bush Admin. come out and hammer him I bet he's pissed. I bet he swings hard at every pitch.
Just listening to his early statements he IS a SUPER HAWK. He wanted to invade and send troops and all that right from the start.
