Vegas weekend:

1) The fight really good, Morales and Chavez threw punches from bell to bell almost every round. Forget the heavyweights, check out the smaller guys. The great Julio Ceaser Chavez was there as his kid, JC Chavez JR, fought and won on the undercard. Don't know what HBO said about the fight but the crowd loved it

2) Hustled over to see Penn and Teller at the Rio. 3rd time I've seen them, always good to see the act, with a few "oldies" and new bits as well. They ended the show by catching bullets in their mouth. Don't know how they pull that off.

3) Otherwise honestly Vegas kind of sucked. Maybe I've been there too many times.

Regardless, each and every fight he's involved in until he hangs up the gloves will be dangerous and, knowing Erik, each and every fight will be a barn burner. So enjoy this great fighter while you can because warriors like Erik "El Terrible" Morales are few and far between, and as we saw recently with the vicious defeat of his arch nemesis Marco Antonio Barrera at the hands of Manny Pacquiao, they can grow old and fall apart overnight.
