Back when I worked at Live 105 we were at Harrison near 3rd. Actually we were at Harrison and Lapu Lapu. It is just a short 2 block alley south of the Moscone Center. I always wondered what or who Lapu Lapu was. A co worker, and former Big Rick intern "Mary" (Mary, Why You Buggin'?) (no last names) told me one day. He is a Philippine hero who killed Magellan. Wow. That explains the cool mural at the end of Lapu Lapu. And it's true. In fact it happened on this date in 1521.
So go read this and impress people with your knowledge of Lapu Lapu.
