Project Hope Dr. Dana Braner carries a 1-year old Indonesian boy from an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter after arriving aboard the Military Sealift Command (MSC) hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). Petty Officer 2nd Class Sheronda Allen, an information systems technician, assists Braner by carrying an IV bag. The child was airlifted from Nias, Indonesia, to Mercy for medical treatment. At the invitation of the Indonesian government, Mercy and USNS Niagara Falls have arrived off the coast of Nias to provide medical and disaster relief to those affected by the March 28, 2005, magnitude 8.7 earthquake.
