So while we wait for the rains to end here in Nor Cal, (it keeps threatening to stop) I ordered a new burner for my gas grill, and went to get it in shape for spring. I opened the grill and found a birds nest with 6 baby birds!
Here's some pictures. They were pretty young in the first shots, now they have a little fuzz. Momma bird gets in from the bottom of the grill where I took out the old burner last fall to get replaced. We put a bowl of bird seed in there, but otherwise we'll just let nature take it's course.
Maybe when they get bigger and need to fly we'll prop up the grill lid.
Any advice from you'all on what to and not to do?
That is so Awsome!
