Coast Guard rescue count 30,000 (including at least 1 Chi-who-a-who-a)



NEW ORLEANS – A Coast Guard member from a Miami-based Port Security Unit holds a chihuahua he rescued from flood waters in New Orleans. The Coast Guard has saved more than 30,000 people and animals since rescue operations began. U.S. Coast Guard photo by PA3 Jeff Pollinger.
