So to my second test of Jott.com I found out in the first one that it has a bunch of extra text, and headers, and profiles stuff to every messages send which I don't wanna have on my blog. I just want it to be nice, clean text. So, I set my blogger settings to allow it to have a post as a draft, not a live post when it sends the text of this voice mail message to blogger through e-mail. It's kinda crazy, I know, but anyway I just started update Jott and let you know how it works for me and this blogger thing. And I guess it works okay except for just that one little hitch cause I don't want a bunch of profile and stuff. I just want to text. So don't exactly do that, it kinda adds little more. But so far, so good, and it's free.
Here's the crud it adds to your message. Some links don't work because it uses my private "post to my blogger account" email! Yikes Not Good! So I can't live time do this, is it worth it even? I read online that they use real people to listen to and translate your voice messages. That's kind of creepy if you want to send someone a private message using jott.com. It also forces the blog posts to default to their font and layout. I tries to bold the stuff below but couldn't without digging in the code.
Hmm I'm not that impressed now. Not private, added crud, forced layout. But it is in beta so maybe these things will be worked out.
