Hooray For The Good Guys!

Did you hear about the big typhoon in the Philippines?

"MANILA: The death toll from Typhoon Fengshen, the storm that battered the Philippines last week, could go as high as 1,300 if the missing passengers and crew of a capsized ferry are included, officials said Thursday."

Guess who showed up to help?

An MH-60R Seahawk helicopter assigned to the "Scorpions" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 49 lands in an open field to deliver supplies to residents on Pan de Azucar Island in the Philippines June 27, 2008.

The U.S. Navy is working with the Philippine army and air force to provide humanitarian relief to Philippine citizens affected by Typhoon Fengshen, which struck June 23, 2008.
