It just goes on and on. Don't think I am being silly here but I am REALLY looking forward to the opening of Salmon season off the N. California coast. It opens at the end of March and that will officially bring Spring. Warmer weather and outdoor activity.



I saw in the paper that lots of campgrounds are already being booked. That's good news. The more people get outside and away form the constant barrage of Fox News and CNN and whatever else the better. What a geat way to spend a weekend. In the warm sun during the day, dressing up for the cold weather at night, having a little dinner and to bed early in a warm sleeping bag.



The cold air in the night seems to really refresh and you can get a really good nights sleep as long as you have the right gear to stay warm.



So start making plans. Go somewhere do something for yourself. Pick a spot and spend the weekend outside this Spring and Summer. Even the freeze dried food has improved!
