Various scandals over the years have unearthed instances of widespread payola, and some people are usually carted off to jail. There's a cry all over the land that payola is over. Then it starts right up again."

Does it really happen? Yes I think it does. Does it happen at my station? No it does not. Have I ever seen it happen anywhere? Nope never seen it. If it happens it happens waaaaay above my head.
