The Saturday of Memorial day weekend I got to go dirt bike riding with my friend Neil at the Hollister OHV park, just south of San Jose. Since it was a 3 day weekend the place was packed. I came down solo but Neil had 3 of his kids and 2 of their friends. We went for just 1 ride together then Neil spent the day watching over his kids on the various mini and pee wee tracks. What a cool guy. He loves to ride but was happy no to just to watch his kids have fun. Pee Wee kids can ride all day just going round and round with big smiles on their faces. And they did.



I went out for a few rides, met up with a guy from the ktmtalk.com message board, and unfortunately watched some young kid get a helicopter ride to the hospital. With all the cars in the parking lots the one way trails at Hollister still didn't seem crowded. Big fun.
