Yahoo! News - Spike TV Inks 'Spike & Mike' Series: NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Spike TV will turn to a fellow Spike to supply the latest addition to its late-night animation block.







The cable channel for men has greenlighted a series compiled from cartoon shorts showcased at the Spike & Mike Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation, a traveling underground tour that exhibited early iterations of 'South Park' and 'Beavis and Butt-head.' Six episodes of the series will begin airing in late fall as part of the Strip, the Spike TV block that features animated series like 'Stripperella.'



'We've always had a cult following,' festival co-founder Spike Decker said. 'This is the first time we can bring animation to the masses beyond the theaters.'
