Steve Masters Exits Live 105

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA KITS (Live 105) jock and Alternative legend Steve Masters has exited his midday shift at the San Francisco heritage Alternative station. He had been hosting the two hour shift following the Howard Stern show for the past 15 months.

Commented Live 105 PD Sean Demery: "Steve did a great job injecting heritage in the Live105 mix. It was great hearing him on the air again at his home base. Simply put the program ran out of steam was canceled in much the same way programs come and go on MTV and other networks. I'm gonna miss having him around. He's an awesome guy."

Live 105 has changed the 10am-noon shift to mirror the station as a whole, while creating a new noon-time feature that will evoke the Live 105 heritage. "We'll be starting a new oldies based program at noon soon with a little more content and new hosts," explained Demery.
