And more details on the liberal radio network. Seems like I thought they will be buying big chunks of airtime to get on the air, not buying radio stations. A guess for a Bay Area station? Hmm probably not a Clear Channel or an Infinity station, they would want to protect their own talkers. So who is left? I think it would be an AM station from a smaller ownership group, with a good signal day and night. I'm totally guessing here in no real order.

KIQI (K101 am) a big signal currently Spanish, KFAX (1100 am) currently Christian talk, KDYA (Gospel 1190 am) home of Bay Area great Clifford Brown Jr., or maybe KMZT (KMozart 1510 am) classical.

By far the best option would be to get on K101. It has a huge signal.

Though its name has yet to be chosen, the network plans to go on the air by March or April, according to Progress Media CEO Mark Walsh. According to Walsh, the first distribution deal -- a lease for round-the-clock air time at WNTD (950 AM) in Chicago -- will be followed by several others in the next two weeks, likely in the New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco markets.
