A news update on what happened Dakar 2004.



Charlie's Dakar finished during stage about 15 km's from the last checkpoint. After losing battery power and having his GPS fail he became lost. Once back on course he was way behind and had to spend the night in the desert with two other riders whom he had helped along to that point. The following morning he arrived at the start of stage #9 but was excluded from the event. It seems that after that Charlie made his own way to Dakar Senegal where he is currently waiting for a flight home. We can't wait to hear of his adventure's and will post anything he sends along here for all to read.
