Wow in the background tv buzz today I heard Fox News intro Alex Bennett!
He was on talking about Iraq. He was, as usual, calm, controlled, relaxed, informed. His point? If we pulled out of Iraq now we would save US soldiers lives, money, and let the UN with Iraq determine their own future. Whatever happens when we pulled out we would leave with Iraq in better shape than when Saddam was there.
He was opposed by another talk show host who wanted to stay and "finish the job".
The other guy almost got into the "Yosemite Sam" talk radio zone. You know foot stompin' arm wavin' hollerin' bombastic nonsense.
Both sides do it. Alex doesn't. Hooray for Alex!
