Today was a big climb day on the Tour De France. They said over 900,000 people were lined up along the course. It sure loked like it. Some had been there for many days. They love to paint the course with slogans and whatever. Last year there were some pretty graphic illustrations seen in the helicopter shot.
Today I saw "Lance Sucks" and "EPO Lance" painted on the course. FYI: EPO helps endurance athletes by boosting concentrations of red blood cells. It is illegal for the riders to use.
Other than that there seems to be lots of suport for Lance, and he is just crushing everybody.
I do wonder with all these fans right next to the riders along the course if some nut might take Lance out somehow.
Would be cool to hear his gf Ms. Crow come on OLN and sing Lyle Lovett's "(That's Right) You're Not From Texas" if/when he wins.
