Fed Up With the Hunger is an article on horse jockeys. It's a little graphic, and pretty crazy what they do to make weight.
It is not in this story but I remember reading about a jockey who would discard the skin on the peanuts the airline would give out.
There is a movement to allow them to weigh more. Seems like a good idea.
