got my U2 tickets today

U2.com and other pages report some problems with the pre sale. Somebody even commented on my blog post below about it. (a comment...wow so rare for me...)



I had to try 3 times but got in about noon local (west coast) time. I turned down 2 seating locations and got some seats at the back of the HP center lower reserved right where I wanted them. It was really expensive. Including all the fees and joining U2.com for the pre sale code it was about 400 bucks for 2 tickets. Blimey! Between this and going to Coachella it is an expensive way to see some music.



You can get in much cheaper. General admission tickets get you on the floor and you can get as close as you want to squeeze to the front. I have heard there will be a big walkway going into the audience on the floor so GA might get you really close to the band.



Everybody can buy tickets on Sunday.



As I said I love this new cd. I keep trying to not think of it as my favorite cd ever by anybody, but it might be.

I burned a Pennywise MP3 cd today to listen to in the F-150 just so I would force myself to listen to something else. I love dem Pennywise boys... "go straight ahead, it's your fu*king life!" love that stuff
