Apple serves a Tiger

Get to this link quick it might scroll behind the wall, but for now it is online.

Walt Mossberg in today's WSJ:

"Overall, Tiger is the best and most advanced personal computer operating system on the market, despite a few drawbacks. It leaves Windows XP in the dust."

"It also adds to the Mac's general superiority over typical Windows computers as the best choice for average consumers doing the most common computing tasks. Apple's hardware already was the best in the business, and Mac OS X has, so far, escaped the virus and spyware problems that plague Windows."

Tiger is the new version of the Apple OS coming out tomorrow. I'l gonna wait to upgrade, maybe a long time. I have had some problems with Apple hardware, iBook, and iPod, Airport, in the last few years. And some of the upgrades have broken stuff on my computer. Right now (10.3.9) everything seems to work fine, and my needs are simple.

I am really looking forward to the new Quicktime, but this Tiger? I can wait.

I do wish Apple would make a nice little 12 inch "tough" Powerbook.
