The new guys coming to 105; I think they will have some audio of the new guys up on the web page soon.
So much for the silly rumors of Sarah and No Name moving up the dial. If they would have moved it would probably have to be No Name and Sarah as 105 is more of a "guy" station. Besides they are doing fine where they are.
The other thing is what about the Dog House? Currently on Free FM 106.9 doing mornings but it has already been announced that Adam Carolla's national show starts there in Jan. 06. With 105 now having a new show announced it seems like there is no mornning show for them to do when their time is up. Maybe they do some other daypart? Maybe something opens up?
The new guys at 105 have a good deal (I think). Infinity wants lots of people to listen to Carolla's show, there is not any pressure on them to keep that huge audience. They get to develop their show while Infinity wants listeners to the show they replace to move away. So I think they'll have a free ride, at least for a bit.

ReplyDeleteAdded to all this is Chris Mays coming down from "Adult Rock" KMTT (The Mountain) in Seattle -- where she's been programmer, station manager and VP during a fifteen-year run there -- to program Alice@97.3.
It may not mean that changes are coming at Alice, but it certainly means a shake up of some sort could be in the works.
