It's like this every year. The first few episodes are slowish, and everybody complains about it. But they are laying the groundwork for the action that will come later in the season. Trust the writers.
I went back and watched the first episode, and what struck me was how Christopher was pointlessly angry in every scene he was in. Expect that to boil over later on.
Tony is in purgotory. Notice how on the news one side of the hotel building was burning. If you watch it again, look for the purgotory/hell references. His identity problem is about him being called to account for his sins.
Anyway, Sunday should be interesting, with Syl in charge, and Paulie Walnuts get pissy. I read where somebody made the observation that his IQ drops about 30 points when he gets mad. Heh.
