getting ready for vacation

I'll be at Clear Lake for the week after the Memorial Day weekend. So I stocked up on the fishing tackle, Persuader jigs etc, and did some Amazon shopping.

I love the true crime stuff.

And I love the Hammer films and tv shows. This is a set of the tv shows.

I heard about this guy Jack Parsons from some tech-y friends (Burning Man types who make flaming tubas!) and can't wait to read about him. He founded the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and seems like an interesting guy. I ordered these 2 books.
