Hammer Time!

When the A's were heading to the playoffs at the end of this season I was getting warm and fuzzy thoughts about the 70's sports scene here in Oakland. (see post below)

I remembered that MC Hammer had a cool blog he frequently updates and decided to start reading it again. Hammer was the 70's era A's batboy, and got pretty tight with all the players in the clubhouse. That's the tie in.

Hammers blog is so fun to read. He is smart, techy, and still doing music. His kids are heading out tonight for trick or treating as Superman and Urkel! He has a very interesting post about one of his favorite reads Wired magazine and their discussion on God and Science. His comments from his readers make for a good discussion on the topic. (I have never seen it as being an either or thing, but many on both sides do. The more science I read about the more amazing the world seems, the more it leads me to believing.)

He is working on some new music, and has a cd ready to drop in early 07. Here is his new Scott Storch produced song "Hammertime."

There are lots of pictures of his family and kids and posts like this

Lord,
Thank you for my Wife and Child.

It is a good blog to bookmark and read. Hammer is a cool guy. Go Hammer!
