coffee time

Buying coffee at Sweet Marias today for some home roasting. Some of my favorites are not in stock, but that's ok. I get to discover new favorites! I ordered a little from around the world this time. Here's their web page http://ping.fm/ddpK2

on order:

Hawaii Kona, expensive but it is the real deal %100 not a "blend" with just a little of the good stuff. I like these mellow island coffees, it was a choice between this of some Jamaican Blue Mountain. I went Kona this time.

India Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold, great name huh?! I love Indian coffee. It isn't easy to get so I roast my own.

Kenya Kirinyaga, lots of flavor from the Kenya coffee.

Sulawesi Toraja Sapan-Minanga, wet island mountainous volcanos means good coffee with some huge flavors.

Home roasting is great. You get really good coffee, it's not that hard to do, and you feel like you are connected a little bit to the rest of the world.

You should never "slam" a cup of coffee without thinking just a little about the way it is grown or processed by the farmers of the world.
