2008 BBQ Spareribs vol. 1

Hoo wee it was nice around here today (Saturday.) Just like Summertime, no wait Summertime can be cold and foggy most of the day. It was a little cold and a little windy but here's to huge amounts of sunshine and after more than a few weekends of rain it felt great. So it was time to fire up the Big Green Egg and get some spareribs going.

I used Gates BBQ rub, set the Egg to cook at 250 with some pecan wood, and made my own sauce. A few sprays of apple juice and a few flips and 3 1/2 hours later they were done.

Add some coleslaw and some collard greens and ice tea and what's wrong with that?

Even better the Sharks won!

Let the toothpickin' ensue!
